Do you own property in NSW? If you do, you should definitely join the club!
The Property Owners’ Association of NSW is the peak professional body representing and working with property owners in NSW. With thousands of current supporters and members across the state, we have been working hard for our members since 1946, across a myriad of issues.
Members of the POA NSW receive our property journal, have access to our regular seminars and networking events on current property topics, have access to our landlord helpline to assist in resolving tenancy issues, have access to our online resources including rental market reports and collective discounts for electricity bills. But, of course, the most important membership benefit of all is access to a network of highly skilled professionals from a wide cross section of the property community – from lawyers to accountants, developers to small investors, from home owners to commercial shop owners. Our membership base is as broad as the property industry.
As well as the personal benefits that our members receive from their membership, the POANSW also widely represents property owner rights to both government and other industry bodies. The POANSW regularly consults on legislative changes, which most recently included the update of the NSW Strata laws, the new Boarding House Act, and the update of the Residential Tenancies Act regulations. We encourage our members to talk to us about what is important to them, and to get involved with setting the POANSW agenda.
So, if you own real estate in NSW, and you aren’t a member of the POA NSW, you have been missing out!
